Nestled in the foothills of Arkansas’ Ozark Mountains, the University of the Ozarks is the oldest university in the state, and just one of the many. Dating back to 1834, this university has a student body reaching between and 700 enrollments and is associated with the Presbyterian Church. Make your way north and check out the campus.
Home to the Eagles athletics and the Walton Fine Arts Center; the University of the Ozarks consists of a welcoming and shaded campus. The University of the Ozarks’ home of Clarksville offers outdoor recreation like fishing, hiking, canoeing and golfing at Clarksville City Park. The Mount Magazine State Park is 42 miles from town.
