National Scenic 7 Byway near Arkadelphia
Arkansas’ first scenic byway, the National Scenic 7 Byway, is 290 miles of travel from Arkadelphia to Harrison. Established in 1993, the southern section of Scenic 7 includes rolling hills and pine tree clusters, but continues on to the Ouachita National Forest. Next is the Arkansas River Valley on the border of the Ouachita Mountains and before fully submerging into the Ozark Mountains known for vibrant forests and streams.
