Little Rock National Airport
In 1917, the Little Rock National Airport started operations as the Little Rock Intermediate Air Depot, by the United States Army Signal Corps. In 1931 the airport serviced Little Rock area passengers with commercial flights through American Airlines. Six airlines, including American Airlines, provide service to more than 2 million passengers each year.
Many improvements have been made to the airport throughout the years, and it's one of many Arkansas airports. The airport started with 40 acres and has grown to more than 2,000 acres. With conveniences such as Starbucks, River Bend Bar & Grill, the Food Court, Daily News store, rental car agencies and free Wi-Fi throughout the terminal, Little Rock travelers will find everything they need at the airport.
