Little Rock Central High School National Historic Site
Known as one of the premier players in the desegregation of public schools, the Little Rock Central High School National Historic Site features some excellent history unique to Little Rock and the surround regions. In fact, Little Rock Central High School is considered the foremost example used in Brown v. Board of Education in 1954.
Since becoming a national historic site, the high school has offered guided-tours of the campus featuring a trip to the Little Rock Central High School National Historic Site Visitor Center. The visitor center features a variety of historic exhibits and displays proudly telling the school’s impressive story.
