Hot Springs National Park
Established in 1832, Hot Springs National Park is the oldest Federal Reserve in the country. Visitors from all over the globe travel to the Hot Springs National Park for the bubbling water of the Ouachita Mountain being pumped into the famed Bathouse Row. The row is a National Historic Landmark District – complete with visitor center at Fordyce Bathhouse.
The park is located in northern Hot Springs, where visitors make soak in traditional baths at Buckstaff, or at any of the other historic structures on Bathhouse Row. Hot Springs National Park is just one of the many Arkansas National Parks you can visit. When you travel through southern Arkansas, be sure to plan for an outdoor adventure full of hikes, fishing, and bird watching.
