Devil's Den State Park
Constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps, Devil's Den State Park is set in northwestern Arkansas in the southwestern Ozarks. Located in the Boston Mountains’ Lee Creek Valley, the 2,500-acre park features hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and picnicking.
Devil's Den State Park visitors are welcome to hike the 4.5-mile Old Road Trail, seven-mile Gorley King Trail, nine-mile Vista Point Trail, and the 15-mile Butterfield Hiking Trail. It's a short drive in from nearby Van Buren.
Mountain bikers can try the 15-mile Cross Country Mountain Bike Trail, and shorter trails include the CCC Interpretive Trail and Devil's Den Self-Guided Trail – a 1.5-mile National Recreation Trail. Check out this exceptional state park, just one of the many throughout Arkansas.
